Cooking has never been one of my strengths. A while back it was decided that I should just stay away from the kitchen after an unfortunate incident where vinegar was confused for oil (that's what I get for putting them in cute homemade bottles) while I was making brownies. Needless to say, they didn't turn out edible. Just because I can't cook, though, doesn't mean I don't like to eat. I actually think it makes me appreciate food more.

One of my favorite meals has always been breakfast, particularly eggs benedict. I order eggs benedict every time I go out for breakfast or brunch no matter where I go and I've yet to get sick of it. My favorite place to go on the weekends for breakfast is a hidden spot on the westside called Overland Cafe—home of the unlimited champagne brunch.

It's usually crowded with patrons but the wait moves quickly and the food is worth it. The eggs benedict here is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is light and fun.

If you're ever on the westside in LA, I would highly recommend a trip here for brunch. I go almost every Sunday during basketball season to watch the games and sip champagne and I'm never disappointed.

Yesterday the lovely Shea Marie from Cheyenne Meets Chanel stopped by the CLC showroom for a quick visit before jetting off to fashion weeks in NYC, London, Milan, and Paris. How gorgeous does she look in this CLC Fall 2012 ensemble!? We love the matching top and skirt!
