Intern Diaries
This past weekend was a big weekend for me. I had a birthday and I officially graduated from college so my parents came out from Delaware for a short visit. On Sunday, we went to a mimosa-filled brunch at Bottega Louie in downtown LA where I had one of the most delicious Eggs Benedict I've ever had.
They even gave me a little birthday surprise which was very sweet of them.
After brunch, we made our way to the Melrose/Fairfax flea market. Last time I was there, I got lucky and found this canvas painting of Madonna which found a home above the couch in my living room.
I'm a huge fan of anything bright and colorful (despite my mostly black wardrobe) so I was excited when I found it. The goal of my trip on Sunday was to get another painting that had some of the same colors and I found this duo for my kitchen.
You'd be surprised how much a little bit of color can brighten up a small space, especially my small West Hollywood apartment. If you haven't been to the flea market, I highly recommend a visit! I promise you won't leave disappointed. (Or empty-handed)
Until next time!
